The 2023 AFCON finalists are in Pot 1 for the draw alongside the Pharaohs of Egypt, current African champions Ivory Coast, two-time winners Algeria, the Atlas Lions of Morocco, and the Taranga Lions of Senegal.
The seedings mean these teams will not face each other in the group phase.
The teams in Pot 2 include Cameroon, Mali, Tunisia, South Africa, DR Congo, and Burkina Faso.
In Pot 3 are Gabon, Angola, Zambia, Uganda, Equatorial Guinea, and the Benin Republic.
Mozambique, Comoros, Tanzania, Sudan, Zimbabwe, and tournament debutants Botswana have been placed in Pot 4.
