Super Eagles defender Leon Balogun is set to leave Glasgow Rangers at the end of the season.

Balogun’s contract with the Gers is due to expire at the end of the current campaign, following two spells at Ibrox Stadium.

The 36-year-old initially moved to the Ibrox in 2020, and spent two years before joining Queens Park Rangers in the Sky Bet Championship.

He later returned to the Light Blues in the summer of 2023.

According to Football Insider, Balogun is unlikely to be offered a new deal by the Scottish giants.

The Nigerian international has made 23 appearances across all competitions for Rangers this season.

Although Balogun recently expressed his desire to stay at the club for one more season, a contract extension remains highly unlikely.
