According to media personality Stella Dimoko-Korkus, the couple will exchange vows at the Eko Hotel in Lagos in the next two weeks.
Actress Tonto Dikeh and others responded favourably to the news, which raised hopes and enthusiasm in both families.

“Singer Davido is set to wed Chioma, the mother of his twins in a proper traditional wedding ceremony set to hold at the Eko hotel in Lagos in 2 weeks time……

The news garnered different responses from the couple’s fans. Some expressed joy that the traditional ceremony would now occur in Lagos instead of at Chioma’s father’s home in the East, while others were confused.
Advocates supporting the couple’s alleged decision contend that worries about safety in the Eastern area played a significant role in their decision-making, leading them to choose Lagos’s multicultural environment as a more secure and convenient location for their marriage.
After weeks of speculation, Davido confirmed his marriage to Chioma Rowland in March 2023.
On November 6, 2022, the couple held a traditional wedding at Davido’s father’s home in the presence of a few family members and friends. The ceremony was covert to the point that cameras were not permitted.
In October 2023, the couple welcomed twins in the US.
