Representatives of the British High Commission and the Chinese Ambassador to Nigeria, Yu Dunhai, attended the national convention of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) organised by the David Mark-led faction at Rainbow Event Centre in Abuja.
The British delegation was led by Thomas Samson, Secretary (Political). The faction had repeatedly appealed to the international community over the party’s leadership crisis. The convention proceeded despite INEC’s withdrawal of recognition of the Mark-led leadership two weeks ago.
